  1. Khaled used many of his life experiences in order to write his book. The relationship of Amir and Hassan comes from the relationship of him and another student in Third Grade in which he taught the student how to read. The student he taught was Hazara, just like Hassan in the novel. In real life, his experience was quick, but the memories of it allowed him to create a fictional version of it. I consider this book to be authentic because it is based on Khaled's life. I think that he included all of the elements of his life, because in real life he probably had his ups and downs with the student. In The Kite Runner, Amir also goes through his ups and downs with Hassan.

  2. The authors life experiences influenced this book because Khaled Hosseni lived in Afghanistan during this time period. Hosseni also experienced some of the many horrors that are described in this book. He is also able to give a third person view of this situation because him and his family are granted a pass to go into the U.S. and stay safe their during all the conflict. This allows Hosseni to see an outsiders view of the conflicts in Afghanistan. These experiences allowed Khaled Hosseni to write a from personal and outsider experiences.
I consider this book to be very authentic. Even though it is primarily a fiction book the details in the book are as real as possible. Hosseni describes the situation with extreme realism as if it happened to him. Also Hosseni includes sections in the native Afghanistan language which add a very realistic view tio the story. All in all, this book is authentic as a fiction book can get.

  3. 1. Khaled Hosseini’s experiences influenced his novel The Kite Runner. While many elements of his novel are fictitious, there are several parts of the book that were inspired by Hosseini’s life. Hosseini’s nomadic childhood between different countries and eventual move to the United States influenced the novel. The main character, Amir, was raised in Afghanistan and eventually moved to the United States as a result of the Taliban. This is similar to Hosseini’s own life experiences. Hosseini’s childhood may have influenced his novel.

    2. Khaled Hosseini’s experiences influenced his novel The Kite Runner. He spent a large portion of his childhood in Kabul, Afghanistan. This is one of the settings of The Kite Runner. In addition, Khaled’s family had to move to the United States as a result of the Taliban. In Hosseini's novel, his characters experience the same incident.
